DOLAN ACADEMY PARTNERSHIP

In order to reach more worthy students, AMP extended our partnership beyond Children’s Aid Society (CAS) to include The Fred Dolan Art Academy. Directed by Neil Waldman, a celebrated author and illustrator, the Dolan Academy’s mission is to help young Bronx artists go to college. Each of the Dolan Academy’s graduates has gone on to attend college with the help of scholarships. They have majored in such diverse subjects as architecture, graphic design, creative writing, drama, psychology, animation, sculpture, computer science and art education.

Kevin Conales, Danielle Marsh, Dolan Academy Director Neil Waldman, Anabelle Santiago, Jeremy Frias

The Audrey Miller Poritzky Scholarship was established to award money to deserving students who display Audrey's attributes of leadership, community service and excellence in education.
